Data Input - New Collections
1Future Climate Analogs Upper Pajaro River
Deliverable TypeMap
DescriptionMaps. Sam Veloz is producing a climate analog on which to base the planting tool. We may end up sharing the result separately if it makes sense, or it will be part of the methodology.
FormatPDF slides of annotated maps.

Not Data - non-data Products
1Methodology: Future Climate Analogs Upper Pajaro River
Deliverable TypeReport
DescriptionThis will establish a method to identify future climate analogs (geographically) that could be used elsewhere, but also a tool specific to the Upper Pajaro River basin

2Climate-smart Riparian Planting Tool (Restoration Design Database and How To Guide)
Deliverable TypeUser Manual / Guidance Document
DescriptionThis is a user-friendly database to identify plant characteristics that will help prepare projects for climate change (e.g., drought tolerant). It will graph those characteristics and be flexible enough for others to add species if necessary.
FormatExcel spreadsheet.

3Curriculum development, delivery, and assessment
Deliverable TypeTraining / Outreach / Workshop
DescriptionThis is an updated educational curriculum to be delivered to school groups implementing the climate-smart restoration. It will also be featured in teacher trainings, and made available online. There will be a slide show and classroom activities described in documents. Lesson plans, species cards/materials/workshop. Intended for teachers to use. Update 3/21/17: This has been created at http://climate.calcommons.org/climate-smart-riparian-restoration-curriculum
