Description:
Scaling up the tested CLIM Engine customization activities in year one to
regional scales. CSP and DRI will work with the USFS and stakeholders
to identify site-specific challenges not encountered in the test cases and
to develop strategies to address such issues. Initial data products will be
developed for review by USFS and collaborators at selected test areas
where accurate reference datasets exist.This will result in a dynamic,
near real-time vegetation and climate monitoring interface in a friendly
and familiar Google Earth environment that allows users to view and
analyze different types of vegetation indices in conjunction with climate
information in space and time through maps and time series tools.
To be delivered In person, tool will be linked on the CA Climate Commons.
