Abstract:

The following document represents the vulnerability assessment results for the chaparral ecosystem, which is comprised of evaluations and comments from a participant breakout group during this workshop, peer-review comments following the workshop from at least one additional expert in the subject area, and relevant references from the literature. The aim of this synthesis is to expand understanding of resource vulnerability to changing climate conditions, and to provide a basis for developing appropriate adaptation responses. The resulting document is an initial evaluation of vulnerability based on existing information and expert input.
