Basic Information

This is a collection of GIS data used in the analyses for the report The Impacts of Sea-Level Rise on the California Coast. The collection consists of shapefiles and rasters giving highest estimated 100-year tide elevations, areas inundated under baseline (year 2000) conditions, areas inundated under a 1.4 meter sea level rise scenario, and coverages of facilities vulnerable to flooding under both baseline and the 1.4 meter sea level rise conditions.

Parameters / Choices
A dataset often contains many geodata layers representing the same kind of measurement, but for different values of some parameters - time periods, models or scenarios, different species, etc. A value must be chosen for each such parameter in order to select a specific layer or raster which associated a single value with each geographic location (cell). The parameters or choices relevant to selecting layers from this dataset are described here.
