Basic Information

This dataset represents modeled wildfire risk in California with climate change (Krawchuk and Moritz 2012). The file contains fields reporting the probability of one or more fires over the 30-year analysis periods, for historic (1971-2000) to future (up to 2099) periods, under two scenarios of climate change. The scenarios are IPCC SRES B1 and A2, or a medium and a medium-high scenario of greenhouse gas emissions and global warming.

Data is made available as a vector grid with 90 meter cell sizes.

Parameters / Choices
A dataset often contains many geodata layers representing the same kind of measurement, but for different values of some parameters - time periods, models or scenarios, different species, etc. A value must be chosen for each such parameter in order to select a specific layer or raster which associated a single value with each geographic location (cell). The parameters or choices relevant to selecting layers from this dataset are described here.
Emission Scenarios:
Multi-year Ranges:
2010-2039, 2040-2069, 2070-2099
