This dataset provides daily gridded meteorological data for the conterminous United States for the period 1949 to 2010. Variables recorded include daily total precipitation, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, and average 2-meter wind speed. Resolution is 1/8th degree (about 12 kilometers).
